GE 7FA Parts Supply

PWPS has designed the rotating components for the hot gas path of the Frame 7FA gas turbine. The designs incorporate their extensive high-temperature experience to provide improved total life-cycle costs. Compared to the OEM the design of parts has been improved upon to minimize oxidation, creep and metal temperature which ultimately extends part life and reduces operating costs.

Compressor Cleaning

We have redefined 7FA gas turbine cleaning technology through our Water Wash Cleaning System which uses new methods. The development of our highly atomised direct injection system has allowed engine cleaning to achieve a giant step forward in providing a cost-effective and environmentally-adapted method that gives substantially improved results.

Compressor water wash system on 2 x GE Frame 6B Gas Turbines

A combined cycle plant located in Thailand and positioned near sea level in a high humidity and a pollution laden environment had been practicing conventional low pressure offline wash cycles. Overall performance monitoring illustrated continued rapid gas turbine output degradation, forcing an offline wash frequency of approximately every 1000 hours.

The ever increasing requirements to operate and maintain existing gas turbine assets at their highest efficiencies, instigated the staff of PAKA to begin identifying options to improve overall plant efficiencies.

Multi-stage compressor cleaning system on SW501F

Cleco Evangeline, an intermediate load following power plant, is located in rural, central Louisiana and is the Siemens LTP SGT6- 5000F (SW501F) class engine operational hour’s fleet leader. The engines experience compressor fouling from seasonal, environmental and agricultural conditions, such as pollen and prescribed burning of local sugarcane and cotton fields, resulting in loss performance.
